The Imperial Edictor is a direct extension of the Royal Edictum of Omanga. Operating outside all civil and military hierarchies, their authority is derived solely from the Royal Prerogative. Guided only by the Merit Dogma, they wield the power of Summary Adjudication: in matters of imperial sacrilege, high treason, or Citizen Credits, their verdict is final, absolute, and carries immediate execution.
They traverse every corner of the Empire—from the shadowed alleys of the slums to the opulent halls of the aristocracy, and into the grim bastions of the frontlines. Any individual whose Citizen Credits fall below the threshold is deemed "Imperial Redundancy" and is liquidated on the spot.
On the field of battle, the Edictor is both the blade of discipline and the banner of faith. Representing the supreme power and will of the Emperor, they move through the ranks to purge the traitorous and reap the heads of the fallen.
